Production of Thermoplastic Parts
Thermoplastics are polymers which become soft when heated and re-set when cooled. They can be shaped in different forms by using moulds and apparatus. The setting process is completely reversible as no chemical bonding takes place during the forming. This charactericstic allows thermoplastics to be remoulded and recycled without negatively affecting the material’s physical properties.
